Mr San Sunkaraneni

Mr San Sunkaraneni is an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon. During their medical school training, Mr Sunkaraneni pursued a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Anatomy, sparking their interest in the anatomy and surgery of the head and neck. They further developed their expertise through general ENT training at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge, and within the Wessex Deanery on the south coast of England. Mr Sunkaraneni's accomplishments led to their selection for a prestigious fellowship.

Mr Sunkaraneni has earned recognition as an accredited specialist by the specialist advisory committee in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and the General Medical Council. Their research interests lie in nasal and sinus diseases. As a Principal Investigator, Mr Sunkaraneni leads a national multi-centre research programme funded by the NIHR, investigating the causes of sinusitis and exploring new treatment approaches.

Mr Sunkaraneni contributes to the advancement of the field by reviewing research papers for scientific journals and has shared their knowledge by lecturing at major conferences in the UK and North America. Their dedication to education is further evidenced by their appointment as a Visiting Senior Fellow at the University of Surrey.
