Mr. Mukherjee is a practicing consultant urological surgeon in Cheshire.

He is a specialist in general adult urological problems, including male urinary/prostatic symptoms (LUTS/BPH), urinary infections, investigations for PSA/prostate cancer, haematuria (blood in urine), female incontinence, impotence, penile and testicular problems.

He is involved in Urological surgical teaching and training and is the Training Programme Director for Urology in his region. He has presented and published nationally and internationally in the fields of urological research.

Mr. Mukherjee graduated in 1997 from the University of Glasgow Medical School. He went on to complete his Pre-Registration house jobs at the Professorial Units of Surgery and Medicine at the Western Infirmary Glasgow, before entering Basic Surgical Training on the West of Scotland Training rotation. He successfully submitted his M.D. thesis on new molecular treatment pathways for prostate cancer in 2005 at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
