About Mr Robin Elliot

Mr Elliot is a Trauma & Orthopaedic Consultant working at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the UK. His specialist interest is in foot and ankle problems. He treats patients of all ages and treats fractures of the lower limb. Mr Elliot has accumulated wide experience of treating all types of foot and ankle problems during his 10 years in practice as a Consultant.

Mr Elliot was the Clinical Director of Trauma & Orthopaedics for Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from 2016 to 2019.

Mr Elliot maintains an intersted in research and teaching in foot and ankle surgery and he has published many papers and taught on international courses.

Outside of medicine Mr Elliot enjoys cycling, swimming and fly fishing. He coaches a local youth rugby team. He is married with two children.

Qualifications

Mr Elliot studied Biochemistry at Oxford University before taking up medicine at St Mary's Hospital Medical School in London. He completed his basic surgical training in West London before moving to Wessex to undertake specialist training in Trauma & Orthopaedics. In 2009 he was awarded and HCA international travelling scholarship and worked for year with the renowned foot and ankle specialist Dr Terry Saxby in Brisbane.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England a member of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.

He holds full GMC registration.
