Mr Richard W Westerman is a highly experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in complex and revision hip replacement surgery.
He studied medicine at the University of Birmingham. Following this, he joined the Armed Forces where he completed commando training and worked as a medical officer. After leaving the Armed Forces, he undertook his Orthopaedic training in the West Midlands and East Midlands, before completing further specialist training in Exeter and abroad. He is now involved with training surgeons both in the UK and internationally.
