I wholeheartedly recommend Mr Saunders for treatment of piles. I had been putting up with piles for a couple of years. I'd exhausted all the non-surgical options without any positive effect and my GP had told me not to expect a quick response from the NHS when they referred me to the colorectal department. They were right. But when I contacted Mr Saunders I was seen very quickly. The assessment was very efficient and everything explained to me clearly and matter of fact. I felt understood and I was with people who knew exactly what to do. And they did. The operation was booked in quickly, and the recovery was exactly as I'd been told to expect - 2 weeks of discomfort and then gradually getting better. Within 6 weeks it was like nothing had happened. I am so pleased I got it done and just wish I'd gone to Mr Saunders sooner.
Mr Rick Saunders is a leader in his field, a highly skilled surgeon and a valued colleague.
