Mr Patrick Keane

Mr Patrick Keane is a Consultant Urologist with more than 25 years of clinical experience. He specialises in General Urology and has a specific interest in urological oncology. He qualified in Medicine in 1978 from National University of Ireland. He also achieved a postgraduate qualification (Master of Surgery) from University Ireland in Dublin in 1984.

Mr Keane worked as a Lecturer for Institute Urology in London between 1987 and 1988, before becoming a Senior Registrar at Hammersmith Hospital the following year. He then worked in Belfast City Hospital and was first appointed Consultant Urologist in 1994, before taking on the role as Programme Director a year later.

He has been a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland since 1995 and he also holds membership with the British Association of Urological Surgeons and the Irish Society Urology.
