Mr Nicholas Cohen

Nicholas Cohen qualified in medicine from Birmingham University. His core General Surgical Training was undertaken in the West Midlands and then Urological Training began. He worked at St Bartholomew's Hospital London in Shock Wave Lithotripsy therapy and research, before completing Urological Higher Specialist Training as Urology Registrar in Aberdeen and Senior Registrar in the West Midlands. In 1997 he returned to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for a Consultant Urological Surgical post with honorary Senior Lectureship.

Mr Cohen has worked at BMI Albyn hospital since 1997. He conducts a full range of General Urological procedures. He specialises in Urinary Tract stone disease management, Laparoscopic Nephrectomy and Pyeloplasty, and Prostate and Bladder diseases and Urological Oncology. He is very experienced in Minimally Invasive Laparoscopic and Endourological Surgery.

He enjoys fly fishing for Salmon and Trout on his local rivers, and spending time with his family.
