About Mr Ahmad Mobeen Ismail
Mr Ismail is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with special interest in both knee surgery and hip surgery. He specialises in all aspects of knee surgery including sports injuries. His particular clinical and research interests include arthroscopic surgery, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, multiple knee ligament injuries, osteotomies, unicompartmental knee replacements, complex knee replacements (including correction of severe deformities), MAKO Robotic hip and knee replacemen and revision knee replacement. He is also experienced in hip surgery consisting of primary and revision hip replacements. He is presently involved in promoting short-stay hip and knee replacements by minimally-invasive surgery and new techniques of pain control and rehabilitation.

Mr Ismail conducted surgery for my 1st knee replacement and I found him to be very understanding, reassuring and most professional providing me with clear explanations when required and ensuring the absolute safety of my care in his hands. It was natural that when it came time for my 2nd knee replacement in my other leg that I wanted no one else other than Mr Ismail to undertake my knee operation as I had the utmost confidence in him following from my 1st knee replacement. Needless to say that everything went to my expectations and another operation was carried out successfully, professionally by Mr Ismail for which I am truly grateful.
Mr Ismail recently carried out my total knee replacement. From beginning to discharge I found him very pleasant, optomistic but very professional. Although it is still early days my movement continues to improve and I am very pleased with the outcome. I would recommend him.
