Mr Michael Bishay

Mr Michael Bishay is a highly regarded Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, safe, and compassionate surgical care. With a clinical focus on lower limb arthroplasty and complex joint reconstruction, he specialises in advanced procedures for the hip, knee, and shoulder. Mr Bishay is committed to precision, patient education, and collaborative decision-making, ensuring that each individual is fully informed and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Throughout his career, Mr Bishay has developed extensive expertise in a wide range of orthopaedic procedures. His clinical interests include primary and revision hip replacements, complex hip reconstructions, and knee replacement surgery. Mr Bishay qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours (MB ChB Hons) in 1981. He subsequently obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 1988, followed by his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Orthopaedics (FRCS Orth) in 1994. Alongside his clinical practice, he maintains a strong interest in research and education.
