He gives clear explanations regarding various orthopaedic conditions and procedures, including rotator cuff repairs, treatment for broken wrists, and clavicle injuries. Patients note his detailed examinations, attentive listening, and the good care received before and after surgery. The strong focus on resolving shoulder conditions and delivering successful surgical outcomes is evident across patient experiences.
I highly recommend Mr. Sala. One of my appointments had to be cancelled because a surgery ran much longer than expected, but he more than made up for it by personally calling me on a Sunday to discuss my MRI results. At every consultation, he has been exceptionally kind, attentive, and thorough. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, answers questions in detail, and never makes you feel rushed. I felt genuinely listened to and cared for throughout. An excellent surgeon with a rare combination of expertise, professionalism, and compassion.

I had an outstanding experience with Dr Matthew Sala, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone seeking expert orthopaedic care in London. From the very first consultation, Dr Sala demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail. He took the time to listen carefully, explained the diagnosis and treatment options with great clarity, and ensured I felt fully informed and confident at every stage. His ability to translate complex medical information into clear, reassuring guidance truly sets him apart. What stood out most was his dedication to patient-centred care: never rushed, always attentive and consistently focused on long-term recovery and wellbeing rather than quick fixes. Dr Matthew Sala is an exceptional orthopaedist and a true credit to his profession. I am extremely grateful for his care and would recommend him without reservation
I am very grateful for all the efforts that Mr Sala puts and the unique skills he showed when he operated on my left shoulder in 2011. I feel very safe to have another surgery proposed by Mr Sala early in 2026 .
If I didn’t know that I would gat excellent treatment from Mr Sala, i would not return. Please note I have returned several times!
