Mr Matthew Adelekan

Mr Matthew Adelekan is a Consultant specialising in General and Breast Surgery. Within this field, his sub-speciality interest includes breast and reconstructive surgery following breast cancer and cosmetic breast surgery .

Mr Adelekan qualified in Medicine in 1984 from the University of Ilorin in Nigeria before moving to the UK. He undertook his basic surgical training at Lake District and his specialist registrar training in the North West. This involved completing year-long training at Nightingale Centre, as part of the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust. This involved providing screening and full diagnoses of breast cancer as well as reconstructive breast surgery.
