Explanation

All staft that I came into contact with at C&W were excellent from ground floor front Reception & Administration all the way through the whole experience. Mark together with his immediate colleagues was excellent - I just didn't enjoy the actual experience of the procedure but I can't imagine that anyone else does either......that's why it's 4 out of 5 stars as it's so unpleasant. I feel grateful to have been seen and am very thankful of all the time & experience that makes this possible. I really don't like hospitals at all but I can't really see how Mark Ferguson & colleagues could have made it any better. Thank you.

Dr Ferguson was amazing in treating what other doctors refused to treat for years or have done it superficially. He saw me multiple times in order to make sure that my ear was properly treated. He was thorough, patient and tried to reassure me all the way through the treatment. My ENT specialist to go anytime! Thanks you, Dr Ferguson!

Mr Ferguson was very helpful and thorough with his questioning around my audio issues in an effort to more clearly understand the issues I'm having. Very clear and simple explanation with suggested pathways for both reducing the issues and discomfort but also in the event that my condition worsens over the coming months.

Explanation

So Dr Ferguson is first of all a true, highly experienced, and skilled surgeon. I was suffering with Eustachian Tube Dysfunction for about 6 months, without any cure or betterment in sight. It causes really horrible symptoms like really muffled hearing, extreme plane-like pressure on the ears (all the time), clicking and popping sounds when you swallow (to name a few). I knew I would have to undergo surgery for it so I could hopefully get back to normal. The surgery is fairly non-invasive compared to other treatment options which involve perforating the ear drum. The surgery Dr Ferguson did is something called the Balloon Dilation of the Eustachian Tube. The surgery went really well and immediately after and in the following days, i started to feel like I was before. I regained my sense of positivity, my joy for life, and most importantly the key symptoms like constant ear pressure and muffled hearing went away. I feel like I did before I had a middle ear infection which caused the ETD in the first place. I can feel like things are healing in the Eustachian tube currently, post-op. Thank you Dr Ferguson again. During the surgery, I was really impressed in particular by his proficiency, surgical skill and dexterity. He is a pioneer in his field and I would not hesitate for a second to recommend him for this particular surgery or similar ENT issues.
