Mr Lee Van Rensburg

Mr Lee Van Rensburg is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon. Mr Van Rensburg's area of expertise lies in disorders of the upper limb, particularly those affecting the shoulder and elbow. He also possesses a keen interest in trauma.

Mr Van Rensburg completed primary medical training in 1993 at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. After relocating to the United Kingdom in 1996, he completed Basic Surgical Training at West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds. Mr Van Rensburg then undertook Higher Surgical Training on the East Anglian Orthopaedic rotation in Cambridge, which he completed in 2005. In 2006, he undertook a fellowship at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, focusing primarily on trauma. Mr Van Rensburg is a member of The General Medical Council, The Medical Defence Union, The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, The British Orthopaedic Association, The British Trauma Society and The British Elbow and Shoulder Society.
