Mr Taylor is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with more than 25 years experience, in elective orthopaedic surgery. His special interests are hip (pain) and knee (pain, locking and instability), replacement (both primary and revision), knee arthroscopy and Cruciate Knee Ligament Reconstruction. Mr Taylor has designed the Olympia hip replacement which has been in clinical use for 20 years and has a particular interest in sports knee injuries. He also uses minimal inclusion surgery when it is safe and appropriate, combined with enhanced re overly techniques which help to minimise recovery time and consequentally, inpatient stay. Mr Taylor has over 25 years experience of spinal surgery as has fufiled a variety of roles including: Clinical Director at the Royal West Sussex Hosptial NHS Trust, Chairman of the Infection Control Committee, Chichester Nuffield Hospital, MAC Chichester Nuffield Hospital, vice chairman and British Orthoapedic Association Linkman. Mr Taylor sees patients for consultations/opinions and is capable of carrying out spinal injections. Additionally he can provide information sheets regarding the risks and complications of the surgeries he undertakes, at your consultation.
