Mr Melton is a specialist knee surgeon working as a consultant at Addenbrooke Hospital, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. He manages the full range of simple and complex, operative and non-operative knee conditions. He has a masters degree in Orthopaedic Engineering and was trained in the Wessex region, during which time he was awarded the FRCS in Trauma and Orthopaedics followed by the CCT in Orthopaedics and Trauma surgery. After this, he spent a year of fellowship training in knee surgery in Sydney, Australia working at the world renowned North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre. Here, he gained further experience in all aspects of sports medicine, the management of knee ligament injuries, the management of knee arthritis and knee replacement surgery. He has also spent time completing fellowship training in limb reconstruction techniques in Russia and as an AO fellow in Marseille, France.
