Mr Jark Bosma

Mr Jark Bosma is a highly regarded Spinal Surgeon. He is specialised in the assessment and treatment of degenerative spine disease. This mainly involves disc prolapse (herniation) and spinal stenosis of the cervical and lumbar spine. He can advise on, and offer surgical intervention, conservative treatment and spinal injections.

Mr Bosma has gained a wealth of experience in spinal surgery, which includes complex instrumentation procedures for the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. He has expanded his experience and pioneered new treatments such as cervical disc replacement and instrumented fixation for spondylolysis. He has published and presented numerous papers at national and international conferences. He has also given presentations and been part of the faculty as an invited speaker.

Mr Bosma taught Neurosurgery in general to students in Liverpool, Southampton and Sheffield. Furthermore, he has taught spinal surgical assessment and techniques to trainees in Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic Spinal Surgery internationally.
