About Mr Ha Chau
Mr. Ha Chau is a highly experienced Consultant ENT Surgeon based in Hertfordshire, UK. After graduating from University College London in 1997, he pursued postgraduate training in ENT surgery, completing this in 2009. He subsequently undertook a prestigious fellowship in Rhinology and Rhinoplasty at the Academic Medical Centre in Amsterdam, further refining his expertise in sinus disease, functional endoscopic sinus surgery, and septorhinoplasty.
Throughout his career, Mr. Chau has gained extensive experience in all areas of ENT, including the treatment of pediatric ear, nose, and throat conditions such as tonsillitis and glue ear. His training included senior registrar positions at renowned institutions like Great Ormond Street Hospital, St Bartholomew's Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, and The Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital.
In 2010, Mr. Chau was appointed as a Consultant ENT Surgeon at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. His practice encompasses outpatient clinics at The Princess Alexandra Hospital, St. Margaret's Hospital, and The Herts and Essex Hospital. He performs day-case surgeries at The Princess Alexandra Hospital and inpatient procedures at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford. As part of a three-consultant unit, Mr. Chau actively contributes to the development and expansion of ENT services within the trust.

Such a personable man. Really listens and then gives thorough explanations in basic terms for understanding. He saw my young son a few years ago and now I am under his medical care, and on both occasions I cannot fault the care of Mr Chau.
I was very happy to have met Mr Chau during my consultation, his confidence, experience and knowledge made me a whole lot comfortable. I was diagnosed with Rhino Sinusitis, he took the necessary steps to try all other options prior to suggesting anything intrusive such as surgery, however with no other options working for me, we agreed surgery would be the best option. The procedure I had was Septoplasty with Turbinate reduction. Every surgery comes with risk, however I knew I was in good hands. My surgery was successful, I am sleeping much better and breathing through my nose is such a relief. It has made a huge impact on my day to day life and certainly feel my fitness has also improved. I no longer have a dry mouth from breathing out of it and my sense of smell seemed to have improved. I only had my surgery 5 weeks ago from providing this review, it is 99% fully healed, and I'm glad to have been a patient of Mr Chau.
Lovely to deal with both Mr Chau and his Secretary. Great communication from start to finish. Obviously very knowledgeable and skilled at his job. Would highly recommend.
