Mr Gidon Ellis is a Consultant Urologist with specialist expertise in kidney stone disease, lower urinary tract symptoms, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and the endoscopic management of bladder cancer and upper urinary tract urothelial cancer. He provides advanced, minimally invasive treatments using the latest endoscopic and robotic techniques.
He offers private urology care for patients across Central and North London, with rapid access to assessment, imaging, and treatment, alongside his NHS practice at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Ellis qualified from the University of Manchester and completed specialist urology training in London, ranking first nationally in the UK selection process. He undertook dedicated endourology training at University College London and, after receiving his Certificate of Completion of Training, completed fellowship training in laser prostate surgery (HoLEP). He was the recipient of The Urology Foundation Endourology Travelling Fellowship.

Mr Ellis was very smart, clear, and reassuring. He arranged several tests to be done immediately, explained what each was for, and was ready to discuss results soon thereafter. His nurses we amazing.
Mr Ellis has been looking after me for the last 4 years and has always been very reassuring and calm. I am a very nervous patient but he brings clear explanations delivered in a very comforting way. Surgery for him is a last resort not a first port of call, while he does not sugar coat anything his communication style ensures you feel calm and very reassured no matter what.
I was very pleased to see Mr Ellis at his Welbeck clinic in Marylebone. A luxury and very comfortable waiting room. The reception area and the staff at the desk were superb, useful and professional. At the clinic Mr Ellis was very welcoming and friendly. He gave us profession insight of the problem a full explenation of the scan results. He made it easy with diagrams and drawings. I would definitely recommend Mr Ellis Clinic. He helped me so much that I didn't have to go through a more complex procedure. He understood my problem immediately and provided me with an effective treatment. I am very grateful to him.
