Mr Edward Mckintosh

Mr Edward McKintosh is a well-respeted Consultant Neurosurgeon with HCA Healthcare alongside an NHS post at Bart's Health Trust. The talented surgeon offers a first-class service to those suffering from back and neck pain, sciatica and other common neurology issues. He has a special interest in brain tumour surgery and neuroendoscopy, a minimally invasive method to examine within the brain. He has a wide range of experience in neurotrauma having worked in one of London's busiest trauma centres.

He was awarded his Medical Degree from Guy's ad St.Thomas' Hospital in South London where he completed his basic surgical training. Following this, he completed a post at the renowned National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and a six months in Papa New Guinea. He was granted a three-year Clinical Research Fellowship at the Institute of Neurology where he studied surgical instrument sterilisation and was awarded a PhD for his outstanding achievements.
