Mr Dibyesh Banerjee

Mr Dibyesh Banerjee is a Senior Consultant Surgeon and Honorary Senior Lecturer. As a Specialist in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, their practice ethos is to achieve the best possible cosmetic result whilst ensuring optimal oncological clearance of breast cancer. They have a tertiary referral practice for complex revisional breast surgery and delayed breast reconstruction.

Mr Banerjee qualified with honours. After spending two years in full-time research, looking at immuno-histochemistry of wound healing in breast cancer patients, they completed higher specialist training in General Surgery (Breast). Their international experience includes Observership at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre (MSKCC) in New York and a Travelling Fellowship at the Winship Cancer Institute and Crawford Long Hospital, Emory University, Atlanta. They have also attended training courses at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan and the Jersey Breast Reduction Masterclass.

Mr Banerjee is an elected Member of the Aesthetic Committee of the Association of Breast Surgeons (ABS). They are also the Regional Representative for London, within the Clinical Practice & Standards Committee of ABS. They have been awarded the Cosmetic Breast Surgery Certification by the Royal College of Surgeons. Mr Banerjee is keen to promote the sub-specialty of Oncoplastic Breast Surgery and remains highly committed to teaching and training. As a member of the Association of Breast Surgeons, Mr Banerjee sits on several committees.
