Dr Chesney helped me with my knee issues that had been causing me a lot of pain and discomfort. From my first appointment with him he was patient and understanding, made it clear he was listening to my concerns (which was appreciated after a different experience at the GP prior to this). When I went in for my surgery, Dr Chesney was really nice and understanding of my nerves and helped me feel calmer going into the surgery. During my check up- Dr Chesney continued to be patient and encouraging about my recovery progress. Overall, my experience with Dr Chesney was brilliant and his professionalism and manner has helped me be less anxious surrounding medical appointments.
Dr Chesney has always been great with my appointments and taken the time to explain everything thoroughly.
Very prompt in diagnosing the issue and arranging the necessary operation. Cannot thank Dr Chesney, enough.
Mr Chesney reassured me I'm on track and my recovery and rehabilitation is going well. Spent time going over nerve damage and understanding I needed to continue to build muscle and co offence before going back to work. Mr. Chesney is a lovely well mannered and courteous man, thank you for everything you have done for me!
Process start to finish was outstanding as expected Previous knee surgery on my other knee 20 years ago is still going strong so I was never in doubt
Mr Chesney is always friendly and approachable. He explains everything clearly and allows you to ask any questions you might have.
Mr Chesney has a warm welcoming manner, and he explains everything you need to know clearly and concisely.
The procedure and follow up care was well explained, assisted by the pre op visit to the centre on what to expect. Mr Chesney takes time to explain and discuss treatment options /plans and is supportive of what you wish and your expectations and outcomes from surgery. The care provided by the whole team was exceptional.
Was very worried & anguish about getting my first ever operation , mr Chasney talked me through the whole experience. All staff reassured me at each step , first class department in nhs Fife with a great team. Everything went smoothly scar healing perfectly. Thank you very much
Mr Chesney has now operated on both my knees, first op was June 2025 and second op was 29/01/26 he was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me about everything that would happen during the operation & also my recovery & what to expect. His reassurance put my mind at ease & he was able to answer any questions I had. He was straight to the point & I really appreciated it as I had no false sense of security going into this knowing it wasn’t always going to be easy. I will be forever grateful to this surgeon as he has enabled me to gain my confidence back & given me a new lease of life. I am now 6 weeks post op & I can honestly say iv never felt better & more optimistic about my life going forward & looking forward to getting fitter & healthier.
