Mr Christopher Mahon

Mr Christopher Mahon is a consultant general surgeon with specialist interest in lower GI colorectal surgery and coloproctology. He has 30 years of medical experience and over 18 years of experience as a consultant general surgeon.

He typically sees patients with gastrointestinal and colorectal issues. He typically carries out the following procedures:

• Hernia surgery
• Colonoscopy
• Endoscopy
• Colorectal surgery
• Bowel surgery
• Laparoscopic keyhole surgery
• Bowel cancer screening

Mr Mahon received his MBChB from the University of Birmingham in 1991 following a Bachelor's in Pharmacology. He later became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1995. Following his specialist training, he undertook several specialist roles in hospitals including: Hammersmith Hospital, King's College Hospital and University College London Hospital.
