Mr Christopher Dawson

 Mr Chris Dawson is a highly
experienced consultant urologist based at the Fitzwilliam Hospital,
Peterborough. He is widely experienced in all aspects of general urology with a
specialist interest in urinary tract stones and urological oncology. He also sees
patients with kidney cancer, prostate disease and cancer, testicular cancer,
bladder cancer, as well as bladder, kidney and urinary tract disorders. 

Chris has long experience in the
field of urology and was a consultant urologist at the Peterborough City
Hospital from 1996 until 2021. He was lead clinician of the department for 14
years, and then cancer lead up until 2018. 

Chris has expertise in the following Urological conditions and complaints;  

· Prostate cancer, including PSA interpretation, investigation, diagnosis, treatment and
treatment-related complications  

· Renal and Ureteric stones 

· Scrotal conditions including testicular torsion, hydrocele and epididymal pathology  

· Bladder dysfunction and retention  

· Benign Prostate Conditions  

· Vasectomy and Vasectomy Reversal  

· Malignant disease (cancer) of the Bladder and Kidney  

· Erectile dysfunction  

· Haematuria  

· Urinary infection Lower urinary tract  

In addition to his post as a consultant urologist, Chris also runs a busy expert medicolegal practice, and is regularly asked to provide 'Fitness to Practice Reports' by the General Medical
Council.
