Mr Andy Hacker has done 2 operations to my right hand. I am now on his list to operate on my left hand. The first appointment I had with him he put me at ease straight away. He explained fully what he was going to do and how it was going to help my pain. His skills and professional conduct goes a long way. I would have no hesitation to recommend Mr Andy Hacker to anyone who has like me big problems with arthritis in their hands. Many thanks for helping me be free if pain. Excellent result following the thumb joint replacement procedure

I have recently had my second thumb joint replacement. The success of my first gave me the confidence to go ahead and have the second one fixed, and I have not been disappointed. Mr Hacker is an incredibly skilled, experienced and knowledgeable surgeon, and his belief in this procedure is entirely justified; I am living proof! He has the ability to put one totally at ease, and I have felt completely safe in his hands (if you pardon the pun!).

Dr Hacker communicates in a really clear and informative way, he has a lovely manner, checked in with me to ensure I understood and gave me space for questions. Treatment options were explained along with next steps.

I recently received a right hand thumb CMC joint replacement at the Saxon Clinic Milton Keynes. Mr Hacker was my surgeon. I attended appointments before my operation with Mr Hacker, he was very clear and concise about the issue with my thumb and what he would be able to do about this. He was very professional and even called in on me just before the operation to make sure that I knew what to expect and that everything was okay. Again after the operation Mr Hacker called in to make sure that everything was okay. This level of care is both reassuring and outstanding. The whole staff at the Saxon clinic work brilliantly together as a team and everything runs smoothly, All of the staff are friendly and obliging.

Following my recent Thumb joint Surgery I visited Mr Hacker for a post op review, where he talked to me through the details of my surgery again. He also very kindly answered any questions I had and explained in great detail all the things I should and shouldn’t do to ensure my best possible recovery outcome. Mr Hacker made me feel at ease straight away he has a good bedside manner explained my procedure to me asked if I had any questions reminded me at any stage I could ask further questions Introduced me to his team in theatre I could see there was a good rappor within the team. I was asked would I like music to listen to whilst the procedure was taking place. through out the procedure Mr Hacker talked to me and let me know what he was doing at each stage. Through out the whole procedure I felt calm and happy with what was going on and secure in my surroundings I would highly recommend Me Hacker
