About Mr Almas Khan

Mr Almas Khan is a highly experienced fellowship-trained consultant spinal surgeon who specialises in complex spinal surgery as well as regular spine surgery. Almas is well known for offering minimally invasive procedures for adults, adolescents and children; as well as follow up reviews for patients who have had surgery abroad.

He carries out investigations for back pain, and arm and leg pain originating from the spine, and offers a range of treatments to suit individual patients.

Almas offers spinal injections under sedation, performs decompression surgery, fusion surgery and surgery at the front, side and back of the spine . He also carries out procedures such as reconstructive surgery and scoliosis correction and revison surgery, including surgery following spine trauma and spine tumours, as well as back pain treatments such as medial branch blocks and Denervex and needle rhizolysis.

He currently consults at Leeds General Infirmary and Nuffield Hospital Leeds.

Almas carries out some of the most complex spinal procedures including Pedicle Subtraction Osteotomy, and complex spine reconstruction, as well as the range of more straightforward common spine procedures like microdiscectomy and spinal injections.

His philosophy for treatment is to ensure that patients are part of the decision making team, and looks forward to seeing you in clinic soon.
