Mr Ajay Pahuja

Mr Ajay Pahuja is a Consultant Urologist based in Belfast at Kingsbridge Private Hospital, Kingsbridge Private Hospital North West, and Ulster Independent Clinic. He specialises in male and female general urology and urinary tract stones. His special interests include benign prostate disease, urinary incontinence, renal stones, hydroceles and epididymal cysts. Mr Pahuja has expertise in the surgical treatment of urinary/renal tract stones (Lasertripsy for renal stones), the surgical management of benign prostate disease (TURP/Green light laser prostatectomy/UROLIFT), botox treatment for overactive and neurogenic bladders, Men's health checks, Penile/Scrotal conditions(circumcision/hydrocele/epididymal cyst), vasectomy, and vasectomy reversal.

Mr Pahuja gained his medical degree in 1996 before training in urology and renal transplantation in Mumbai for three years. He completed his urological training in the UK and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2001 and a fellow of the Royal College of Urologists Edinburgh in 2008. Mr Pahuja is active in research and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals. His research interests include treatment for benign prostatic disease and treatment for renal masses. Outside of work, he enjoys keeping active and playing cricket and badminton.
