Mr Adam Moors

Mr Adam Moors is a Senior Consultant Gynaecologist at the University Hospital in Southampton.  His manner is friendly and approachable, and backed up by his truly extensive knowledge of benign gynaecology conditions.

Mr Moors specialises in laparoscopic surgery, with expertise in the surgical excision of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis.  Mr Moors leads the BSGE accredited centre of excellence for Endometrosis in Southampton. Having previously been the lead for Endometriosis at BSGE - he played a key role in establishing national standards and a national network of centres dedicated to the treatment of severe Endometriosis.  Mr Moors remains actively involved in research, is well - published and regularly contributes at both national and international conferences.

In addition to his expertise in the management of Endometriosis, Mr Moors has extensive experience in reproductive surgery, the management of complex pelvic pain and offers patients thoughtful evidence - based care based on years of clinical practice.

Mr Moors is a founder partner of Gynaechoice - a multi-disciplinary team of Consultant Gynaecologists working out of the Wessex Nuffield Hospital in Chandlers Ford since 2004.
