Dr Abir Doger Consultant in Anaesthetics and Pain Management

Dr Doger achieved his initial qualification in 2001 from Himachal Pradesh University. After coming to the UK he then completed most of his medical training in and around the West Midlands. After choosing pain management as his specialist area he then went on to be awarded an FFPMRCA, the benchmark qualification recognised by the Faculty of Pain Management (Royal College of Anaesthetists).

Currently, Dr Doger is the Associate Medical Director of John Taylor Hospice, Birmingham, U.K and is based at Heart of England Foundation NHS Trust, Birmingham which includes Solihull Hospital, Good Hope Hospital and Heartlands Hospital.

Dr Doger is qualified and experienced in all areas of pain management and also has a special interest in Cancer Pain Management. Dr Doger runs a Specialised Cancer & Palliative Pain Clinic in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Dr Doger has authored various publications, presented case reports about rare and difficult cases in various national and international meetings. One of his key objectives is to support improvement in the cancer pain services, which he feels passionately about.
