Dr Mostafa Dowidar

Dr Mostafa Dowidar is a dedicated Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon who specialises in comprehensive eye care, advanced glaucoma management, and modern cataract surgery. Known for his professional and patient-centred approach, Dr Dowidar focuses on preserving and restoring sight through evidence-based practice and state-of-the-art surgical techniques. Dr Dowidar obtained his primary medical degree, the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh), before completing extensive postgraduate clinical training in Ophthalmology. His advanced academic credentials include a Master of Science (MSc), a Master of Surgery (ChM), a Postgraduate Diploma in Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and a Certificate in Laser and Refractive Surgery. Demonstrating a strong commitment to medical pedagogy, he also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Simulation-Based Clinical Education at the University of Edinburgh. Dr Dowidar is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth) and a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS).
