Mr Mohammed Chowdhury

Mr Mohammed Chowdhury is a dedicated Consultant Vascular Surgeon specialising in the diagnostic assessment and management of circulatory conditions. He provides high-quality care for individuals experiencing complex arterial and venous disorders, focusing on patient-centred treatment plans designed to improve quality of life and long-term health outcomes. Through the integration of traditional surgical techniques and modern diagnostic approaches, Mr Chowdhury delivers tailored care for a wide range of vascular health needs.

Mr Chowdhury earned his medical degree with honours (MBChB Hons) from the University of Manchester in 2010. Following his foundational training, he pursued advanced academic and surgical research, earning a PhD from the University of Cambridge alongside a Master of Research (MRes) with Distinction and a Master of Science (MSc) with Merit. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Vascular Surgery and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). Additionally, he was awarded a travelling fellowship by the British Society of Endovascular Therapy to complete advanced international training in complex vascular techniques.

In his clinical practice, Mr Chowdhury manages a broad spectrum of vascular conditions affecting the arteries and veins. His clinical focus includes the treatment of varicose veins, peripheral arterial disease, aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, venous leg ulcers, and diabetic foot complications. He is experienced in performing both open vascular surgery and minimally invasive endovascular procedures, utilising innovative techniques such as angioplasty, stenting, lower limb revascularisation, and targeted drug delivery to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients.
