Dr Mohammed Abubakr is a highly regarded Consultant Cardiologist who specialises in all aspects of adult Cardiology. In his clinical work, Dr Abubakr has developed extensive expertise in both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures. He is highly skilled in performing invasive coronary angiograms and utilising advanced non-invasive techniques, such as Cardiac CT, to assess coronary artery disease. His areas of clinical interest also include the management of high blood pressure (hypertension), irregular heartbeats (arrhythmia), ischaemic heart disease, and lipid disorders. Dr Abubakr obtained his primary medical qualification, a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), from the University of Gezira in 2000. He subsequently completed his postgraduate specialist training in Cardiology within a regional deanery in the United Kingdom. Demonstrating his commitment to professional excellence, he is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP (UK)).
