After years, and I mean many, many years of repeat HRT prescriptions, finally a doctor who actually reviews my meds properly and wow do I feel the difference!
I had labial filler injected and I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed by the ease of the procedure and how painless the experience.was.
Miss Adib is unparalleled in both her experience and clinical insight. At 40 years old, I have seen my fair share of gynaecologists, and she offered exactly the right advice at exactly the right time. She listened attentively to my description and interpretation of my symptoms. After feeling dismissed by other doctors, I finally felt truly heard. Even before reviewing blood tests, she was able to recognise that I was likely experiencing progesterone insufficiency and entering early perimenopause — something that had not been clearly addressed before. She also took the time to carefully consider my complex family history of estrogen receptor–positive breast cancer. Rather than reacting with unnecessary alarm, she explained the nuances clearly and reassured me that bioidentical progesterone would be both safe and appropriate for my situation. Three months later, after completing a Cycle Day 21 blood test and returning for follow-up, I was able to report a significant improvement in the management of my symptoms. I feel that Miss Adib selected the correct therapy for me, took the time to listen first and educate second, and in doing so materially improved my quality of life. I am deeply grateful for her care and expertise.
I was diagnosed with stage 1A endometrial cancer and had had a total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy. I had been advised to come off HRT pre op which I did My op went well although one week later I had a bleed and went back into hospital. It was sorted quite quickly and can happen Unfortunately my anxiety levels were enormous and I was not coping at all ..I didn’t understand why I was feeling so bad as I’d been in a really good place pre diagnosis ..yes cancer is a shock there is no doubt about that but mine had been caught early I was put on an antidepressant which makes you feel worse before better I was in a terrible place mentally , my thoughts were dark and I was scared and although this is hard to write I felt that if this was my life going forward I didn’t want it. By chance my sister in law met a friend who had suffered similarly and after much research had gone to see Miss Adib and highly recommended I don’t really remember my first appt I was not in a good place but I know I was listened too and based on my history Miss Adib prescribed HRT 7 months later I’m writing this( I’ve had 2 subsequent appts) ..I’m currently on the same dosage of HRT I was on pre diagnosis I still take sertraline but a low therapeutic dose . I know now I had been going through catastrophic surgical menopause. Miss Adib explained the potential risk but lack of evidence with regards to taking HRT post cancer. Everything about my appt was professional and caring and I highly recommend Personally Im now in a much better place, I’m working again and although the residue o...
Read moreVery helpful visit. I am late in the day to start taking hormones. I felt terrified and intimidated by the whole prospect even though I realised I needed them. We have started on a very low dose to build up slowly. I feel very trusting and safe with miss Adib. I already feel different like a weight has been lifted and my spirits feel brighter. I feel more like me again!
A friend recommended Miss Adib as I suffer from repeated UTI infections post-menopause despite using HRT. Tania was wonderful, she prescribed a cream which has really helped, and I haven't had infection since. I highly recommend her !
I have been seeing Tania for a few years now and find her treatment so valuable. The fact that my HRT presctiption is informed by careful monitoring of hormones via blood tests is something I've not had elsewhere and has allowed her to prescribe the right HRT combination to make me feel so much better. My energy levels are up and I simply feel like a woman again.
It was a personal recommendation that brought me to Tania Adib. Having had unsatisfactory results from visits to the GP. My experience with my appointments and outcome could not have been better. Tania Adib is at the top of her game professionally and is extremely articulate and easy to talk to. She explains everything clearly and you feel you are totally in the right place. All my issues are resolved. In addition I have gone on a micro dosing of mounjaro which has been a game changer. The combination of sorting out my hormones and the mounjaro has meant my mood is lifted. My blood suger levels are back to normal and I am feeling great. Thank you Tania Adib.
Dr Miss Tania Adib has accompanied me very thoughtfully through my perimenopause treatment. She explained everything in a very clear and understandable way and took the time to answer all of my questions. She fine-tuned my hormonal therapy for perimenopause with small but very effective changes. The switch to bioidentical progesterone at night has notably reduced my sleep disruptions and night-time hot flushes, and I am now sleeping much better. The addition of testosterone has been truly life changing for me: together with improved sleep, it has restored my previous energy levels and my libido, and I feel much more like myself again. I believe testosterone is something that should be prescribed specifically for women when appropriate, as its impact can be profound, and I would definitely recommend considering this option under specialist guidance.
I struggled for 2–3 years with vaginal dryness, thinning, low sex drive, and painful sex caused by low dose birth control (Gedarel). I had lost a lot of confidence due to this. During that time, I visited multiple NHS GPs, and every single time I was told there was nothing wrong, I'm too young and advised to use lubricant or vaginal moisturisers. I felt completely dismissed and defeated. After doing extensive research, I came across other women with similar experiences, including some who had been successfully treated with bioidentical HRT. I was determined to find a gynaecologist who had experience treating women closer to my age, and I was incredibly fortunate to find Miss Tania Adib. From the very first appointment, Miss Adib took me seriously, listened carefully to everything I had to say, and made me feel heard and understood. She diagnosed me with vestibular vulvodynia and thinning and prescribed bioidentical HRT consisting of estradiol, testosterone and baclofen which has helped so much. The baclofen has really helped as I also had some pelvic muscle tightness. The improvement has been dramatic — my vaginal dryness has resolved, my sex drive has returned, and there is a significant reduction in pain during sex and my confidence has improved immensely. I feel like myself again. I had honestly lost all hope before meeting Miss Adib! Miss Adib is extremely kind, friendly, and professional, and I have always felt safe and comfortable at every visit. I have had an excellent experience under her care and am genuinely grateful for the impact she has had on my quality of...
