Dr. Min Yi Tan

I had the best advice and reassurance from Dr. Tan. She helped and supported me throughout my whole pregnancy and I had an enjoyable pregnancy experience throughout. If I ever got pregnant again. I would sure hope I would have dr. Tan and her team any day. Many thanks to you all ♥️

Miss Tan provided me with outstanding v care and support during my pregnancy. She was absolutely amazing — her knowledge and expertise were incredibly reassuring, and she always managed to calm my anxieties and make me feel supported and in safe hands. I’m truly very grateful for the time and care she gave me in such a vulnerable time.

We rarely write reviews but Ms Tan really deserves one, especially given the importance of the event for my wife and I. Ms Tan helped my wife deliver our daughter in August of 2026. Ms Tan has been exceptional throughout our journey, from month 3 till the delivery day. She is personable while being professional, thorough and precise and, most importantly, acted calm under pressure when it mattered. She is an obstetrician that really puts mother’s needs first over her own “style / agenda” which is not a given in central London private hospitals (we’ve spoken to at least a dozen of our friends / other young parents around central London). My wife wanted to have a fully natural birth (no induction, no epidural and no labour augmentation / interventions) which Ms Tan respected throughout our journey and did her absolute best to help my wife achieve what she’s been striving for. Not a given for an obstetrician who’s entire job description is about managing pregnancy risks and mastering labour interventions. To put things bluntly, there were several cross roads throughout our journey and during the labour where Ms Tan, as an obstetrician, could’ve just overruled our desires knowing we would have to followed her lead. Yet she really trusted my wife, her preparation and natural process while being there for us in case things would not go to plan. Lastly, we were impressed by Ms Tan’s mastery in the delivery room when it mattered. My wife ended up delivering a very large baby for her size naturally and avoiding any complications (tearing, stitching required, excessive blood loss ...

I just wanted to take a moment to truly thank Dr Tan for everything she did for me since the moment I came under her care with delivering the birth of my twins. I am so lucky and glad to have had someone like her beside me in this experience, she was just truly magnificent… her kindness and care meant more to me than I could ever put into words, making me feel so at ease during such an overwhelming time. Having someone as compassionate and supportive as her made the whole experience so much better. I will always remember how she went above and beyond to support her patients. She is truly an exceptional Doctor. My deepest thanks and appreciation

Very reassuring and calm.

Dr Tan was exceptional throughout our labour. She came in from home during the night and immediately brought a calm, skilled and empathetic presence. She took the time to communicate clearly, never making us feel rushed or pressured, and her measured approach gave us, and importantly other medical staff, the confidence to continue with the birth we had hoped for. Thanks to her expertise and reassurance, we were able to achieve a vaginal birth and avoid a caesarean section which was imminent. What stood out even more was that she kindly came to see us the following day to talk through the labour, answer our questions and help us process what had been a rather emotional experience. Her compassion, professionalism and excellent communication made an enormous difference to our birth experience, and we are incredibly grateful for the care she provided.

We had an amazing experience with Dr Tan during the birth of our newborn. Although my delivery was complicated, she remained calm, confident, and reassuring throughout. She made me feel safe and constantly reassured me in the operating theatre, which helped ease my anxieties. Dr Tan is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and clearly very experienced. I was especially touched that she took the time to visit me in the postnatal ward to check on how I was doing. I truly felt I was in the best hands and would highly recommend Dr Tan to anyone looking for an obstetrician who genuinely cares for her patients.

Dr Min Yi Tan is a world class doctor. If I could rate her 10 stars out of 5 I would! She is the best doctor I have ever dealt with pregnancy aside. I could not recommend her enough. Her deep knowledge about any issues one can encounter during pregnancy, combined with her high EQ make the whole experience of pregnancy and birth under her care smooth sailing. My original plan was to do a vaginal birth with epidural as per my other two children. We decided to do a c-section in the end last minute due to the baby not being in the optimal position. She helped us and guided us throughout the decision process with extreme professionalism and kindness which allowed us to make our peace with having to do something I did not originally have as part of my birth plan. Every woman knows how unsettling pregnancy and birth plan surprises are, but our confidence in Dr Tan allowed us to have overall a wonderful experience in the birth of our son. Dr Tan loves her job, loves her patients, loves the babies she so skilfully delivers, no matter the circumstances and one can tell! Thank you for everything Dr. Min Yi Tan, we will miss you!

We cannot be more grateful for the exceptional care provided by Miss Tan. Throughout our visits, she explained everything with incredible clarity, never rushed us, and was always patient. She truly goes the extra mile to ensure you feel supported and have absolutely everything you need. Our overall experience was overwhelmingly positive. Miss Tan created so many moments of happiness for us during the ultrasounds, making what could be a routine check-up feel incredibly special and memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better consultant during this journey.

Dr Tan oversaw our high risk pregnancy under the FMU team. We were so grateful to be under her care - professional, sensitive, personable, supportive and reassuring during what was a very anxious, uncertain time.
