Dr Michael Perkin

Dr Michael Perkin is an accomplished Consultant Paediatric Allergist and Paediatrician who provides expert, empathetic care for infants, children, and young people affected by allergic conditions and general paediatric health concerns. Recognised as a leading authority in paediatric allergy management, he works closely with families to establish accurate diagnoses and deliver individualised, evidence-based care plans. His clinical focus encompasses a comprehensive array of paediatric allergic diseases, ranging from food allergies and eczema to respiratory and environmental sensitivities.

Dr Perkin earned his medical degree from the University of London, qualifying in 1993 with distinctions in medicine and surgery. During his medical studies, he completed an intercalated Bachelor of Science with Honours in Epidemiology. He further advanced his clinical and research credentials by attaining a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Doctor of Philosophy investigating protective factors against childhood allergic disease.
