Dr Matthew Wynne

Dr Matthew Wynne is a dedicated Dermatologist who provides compassionate and comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. Taking a thorough, patient-centred approach to clinical practice, Dr Wynne is committed to delivering individualised care plans tailored to each person's specific health needs. His objective is to ensure that patients receive clear medical guidance, accurate diagnoses, and reassuring support throughout every stage of their treatment.

In his clinical practice, Dr Wynne has a particular focus on complex hair and scalp disorders, including alopecia areata, scarring alopecia, and pattern hair loss, alongside specialised nail diseases and inflammatory skin conditions such as morphea (localised scleroderma). He actively engages in clinical research aimed at enhancing patient comfort during treatments, including work on vibration-assisted analgesia during intralesional corticosteroid therapies for scalp conditions. In addition, Dr Wynne assesses and treats general dermatological concerns and skin lesions to help patients maintain long-term skin health.

Dr Wynne completed his medical education graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) as well as an Intercalated Bachelor of Science (iBSc). He subsequently attained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP). Committed to ongoing professional development and academic contribution, he is a member of respected professional bodies, including the British Hair and Nail Society.
