Mr Liew instilled confidence from the outset. He explained the HoLEP procedure together with timescales, the recovery stages and intended outcomes in clear & simple terminology. I felt reassured in my choice of surgeon from the first consultation and was totally relaxed about my decision to proceed with Mr Liew. My procedure went well and I was discharged the next day as planned. The recovery was painless and uneventful and I could not be more pleased with the improvement to my everyday activities. I would recommend Mr Liew and The Spire Didsbury team to anyone considering the HoLEP procedure.
Mr Liew was clear and concise. He gave me confidence that I am making the right decision to have my prostate reduced to improve my quality of life.
Mr Matthew Liew is one of the few urologist surgeons practicing the En Bloc Laser Resection for bladder cancer. This procedure is less invasive with quicker recovery time and taking out the tumour whole so more accurate for pathology. As an older patient this procedure is more welcome and safer for me than the gold standard TURBT used in most hospitals .
The minor surgical procedure I had today, to improve urinary flow following earlier HoLEP surgery, was done by Mr Liew efficiently and without discomfort. I am grateful to him for wanting a completely successful outcome. Mr Liew and all the staff I encountered were extremely kind and attentive.
I went for a consultation about having an operation and everything was explained to me price timescale really pleased
I had a circumsicion with Mr Liew. I opted to have a more conservative procedure which was discussed and carried out perfectly. The initial consultation was informative and professional. I am very happy with his work!
My experience and treatment at Spire Manchester and with Mr Liew was exceptional. My Holep procedure and recovery went very smoothly. The outcome has been as we had hoped for - it has much improved my urinary retention and greatly reduced the number of trips to the toilet!!
I found my dealings with Mr Liew to be first class at every stage of the process, from the initial consultation, the operation and final discharge. Always friendly and informative. The operation has been a resounding success.
My experience was excellent, everything about the operation & aftercare was top notch.
