Mr Matthew Kent

Matthew Kent is a Physiotherapist with expertise in musculoskeletal and sports injury management. He is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and holds an MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham, a BSc in Human Biology, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound from Brunel University. He is also an Independent Prescriber.

Matthew has extensive experience across NHS and private healthcare settings, including managing the physiotherapy department of a private hospital in North London and working overseas in New Zealand. His clinical practice covers a broad range of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions, from acute and chronic injuries to post-operative rehabilitation. He has a particular interest in the rehabilitation and return-to-sport management of patients following ACL reconstruction, as well as the treatment of knee and shoulder pathologies.

Qualified in musculoskeletal diagnostic ultrasound, Matthew integrates imaging into his assessments to provide accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment plans. He works closely with orthopaedic surgeons, sports physicians, and radiologists to ensure comprehensive, multidisciplinary care. His approach emphasises patient education, exercise-based rehabilitation, and evidence-based manual therapy to achieve optimal functional outcomes.
