Dr Masroor Ahmad

Dr Masroor Ahmad is a highly regarded Consultant Rheumatologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal and rheumatological conditions. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, he focuses on delivering precise diagnoses and tailored treatment plans. Dr Ahmad is dedicated to helping individuals manage chronic conditions, improve their mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Throughout his career, Dr Ahmad has developed significant expertise in managing complex inflammatory conditions. His clinical interests include inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disease, and interstitial lung disease, for which he has run specialised combined clinics. He is also highly skilled in performing joint injections to alleviate pain and inflammation, and he actively supports transition services that help young adults move from paediatric to adult rheumatology care. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as an expert witness in the medicolegal field, specialising in musculoskeletal reports.

Dr Ahmad completed his primary medical education, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2002. He subsequently undertook extensive specialist training in rheumatology, completing his specialist rotation in the Yorkshire region in 2013. He holds prestigious professional qualifications and memberships, including being a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP).
