Mr Martin Tisdall

Mr Martin Tisdall is a Consultant Paediatric Neurosurgeon. He specialises in paediatric epilepsy surgery and has a special interest in the neurosurgical management of paediatric epilepsy. His other interests include cerebral monitoring techniques and traumatic brain injury. He is also the neurosurgical lead for traumatic brain injury.

Mr Tisdall's research interests include clinical outcomes from epilepsy surgery, imaging techniques for presurgical assessment of children with epilepsy, near-infrared spectroscopy and multimodality monitoring of cerebral haemodynamics and metabolism.

Mr Tisdall qualified from UCLH medical school in 2000 and studied neurosurgery in London. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
