Dr Martin Rossor

Dr Martin Rossor is an esteemed Consultant Neurologist with extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing complex neurological conditions. Specialising in cognitive disorders and neurodegenerative conditions, he focuses on delivering comprehensive, compassionate care for individuals experiencing memory loss, cognitive impairment, and rare neurological syndromes. His clinical approach emphasises clear communication, rigorous evaluation, and tailored support to help patients and their families navigate challenging diagnoses.

Throughout his clinical practice, Dr Rossor has maintained a dedicated focus on young-onset dementia, familial Alzheimer's disease, frontotemporal dementia, and atypical cognitive disorders. He works closely with patients to provide accurate diagnostic insights, utilising advanced diagnostic techniques such as specialised neuroimaging evaluations and molecular genetic assessments. Dr Rossor completed his medical degree at King's College Hospital Medical School in London after undertaking his undergraduate studies at Jesus College, Cambridge. He subsequently completed specialist postgraduate training in clinical neurology alongside research into the neurochemistry of degenerative brain diseases, earning his Doctorate of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) and a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences (FMedSci).
