Dr Mark Taylor is an experienced Consultant Cardiologist who provides expert, reassuring care to individuals experiencing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, he works closely with individuals to diagnose heart conditions effectively and craft tailored management plans. Dr Taylor strives to make patients feel supported and informed at every stage of their treatment journey.

Clinically, Dr Taylor specialises in the diagnosis and management of heart rhythm disorders, also known as cardiac arrhythmias. His work encompasses comprehensive heart rhythm testing and the implementation and monitoring of cardiac devices, such as pacemakers and defibrillators. Beyond his direct clinical duties, Dr Taylor chairs a regional professional group dedicated to elevating standards of care for patients with heart rhythm problems, reflecting his commitment to advancing outcomes in cardiac healthcare.

Dr Taylor completed his specialist higher training in cardiology in the North East of England. Demonstrating advanced expertise in his sub-specialty, he has successfully passed European Heart Rhythm examinations focusing on electrophysiology and cardiac device therapy. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Taylor plays an active role in medical education as a senior teacher for medical students, helping to train future doctors.
