Dr Mark Snazelle

Dr. Mark Snazelle is a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anaesthetist with a particular interest in pre-assessment, intensive care medicine, regional anaesthesia, medical ultrasound including echocardiography, and bariatrics. He is passionate about providing high-quality care to his patients and has a joint accreditation as a Consultant in both anaesthesia and intensive care medicine.

Dr. Snazelle's medical journey began with his qualification as a doctor in 2001 from the esteemed University of Birmingham Medical School. After completing his medical degree, he chose to focus on a career in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine and relocated to East Kent to pursue his specialisation. He underwent comprehensive training in Kent and various London teaching hospitals, gaining valuable experience in both anaesthesia and intensive care medicine. His dedication and hard work culminated in the completion of his training in 2012.

In September 2012, Dr. Snazelle was appointed as a Consultant in both anaesthesia and intensive care medicine at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford. Since then, he has been an integral part of the Cinque Ports Anaesthetic Group based in Ashford, providing anaesthesia for a wide range of surgical specialties at several private hospitals in East Kent.

As a GMC-recognised trainer, Dr. Snazelle plays a crucial role in training and guiding future anaesthetists, contributing to the development of the medical community. He is committed to delivering patient-centred care, ensuring that his patients receive the best possible treatment and experience during their medical journey.

Dr Snazelle enjoys his leisure time playing tennis and golf and cherishing moments with his family and friends.
