Dr Mark Salji

Dr Mark Salji is a dedicated Urologist and Consultant Urological Surgeon who provides comprehensive clinical care for patients with general urological conditions and urological cancers. With a strong clinical focus on patient-centred care, he works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment strategies for every patient.

As a specialist in uro-oncology, Dr Salji possesses significant expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers. His clinical practice and academic research focus on advanced diagnostics and innovative care pathways, including robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy and the management of hormone-resistant prostate cancer. By integrating cutting-edge research in metabolic imaging and MRI diagnostics into his practice, he strives to improve diagnostic accuracy and personalise treatment plans to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.

Dr Salji earned his medical degrees, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BChir) along with a Master of Arts (MA), from the University of Cambridge. He further advanced his scientific background by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused on prostate cancer research. Dr Salji is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) and a member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS).
