Maria Goldsmith

Ms Maria Goldsmith is a Specialist Podiatrist with over 12 years of NHS experience in the assessment and management of a wide range of lower limb conditions. She practises at Foot Factor, where she has a specialist interest in musculoskeletal podiatry, running-related injuries and female athlete health.

Having worked extensively across both NHS and private practice, Ms Goldsmith has developed broad expertise in the diagnosis and management of lower limb pathologies. Most recently, she worked as a Clinical Lead within a vascular and limb salvage service, caring for patients with complex systemic conditions including diabetes, cancer, rheumatological disorders and neurological conditions. This experience has strengthened her clinical reasoning and multidisciplinary approach, which she now brings to musculoskeletal and sports podiatry.

Ms Goldsmith is committed to delivering thorough assessments, accurate diagnoses and holistic, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs and lifestyle. She also holds a Level 5 Diploma in Wellness Coaching, enabling her to support patients in addressing lifestyle factors that may influence recovery, long-term function and overall wellbeing.

She is passionate about continuing professional development and remains committed to staying up to date with the latest evidence in podiatric practice. She is currently undertaking the inaugural postgraduate programme in Exercise Medicine for Female Health at the University of Lancashire, further developing her expertise in the care of female athletes and active individuals.
