Dr Maher Alazizi

Dr Maher Alazizi is a highly accomplished Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad range of expertise in women's health, he specialises in managing both routine and complex conditions. His clinical practice encompasses high-risk obstetrics, complex benign gynaecology, and ambulatory gynaecology, ensuring that patients receive tailored support throughout every stage of their healthcare journey.

In addition to general obstetric and gynaecological care, Dr Alazizi has a strong interest in advanced minimally invasive procedures. He is highly skilled in performing advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries, which offer patients shorter recovery times and reduced post-operative discomfort. His diverse clinical background also includes experience as an IVF Consultant, providing him with deep insights into reproductive medicine and assisted conception treatments.

Dr Alazizi completed his primary medical education at Aleppo University, qualifying with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2003. He went on to obtain a Master of Science in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Damascus University. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, he has achieved several prestigious postgraduate qualifications, including Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the United Kingdom. He is also a fellow of the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and holds a Certificate of Completion of Training in the United Kingdom.
