Dr Maeve qualified from Liverpool University Medical School in 1996.
After 5 years of NHS Hospital Specialty and General Practice training she succeeded in acheiveing both the Diploma of Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the Diploma from the Faculty of Family Planning further consolidating her knowledge of female health. In 2001 she further achieved membership of the prestigious Royal College of General Practitioners. Later on, she went on to set up GP registrar training in her Surgery and was invited as an examiner for the RCGP exams.
In 2007 she completed the Diploma of Practical dermatology (merit) from Cardiff University and was invited back to be a Dermatology Tutor for other Doctors in the UK and Internationally. She also secured a secondary care Specialty Doctor in Dermatology post in her local hospital.
From 2012 onwards she trained in Aesthetic Medicine and undertakes multiple training sessions further perfecting and enriching her knowledge of the subject. She enjoys sharing her expertise so is frequently invited to train others in Aesthetic Medicine.
