Dr Lekha Sridhar

Dr Lekha Sridhar is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician specialising in Paediatric High Dependency Care and Paediatric Critical Care Medicine. Dr Sridhar provides compassionate, family-centred medical care for infants, children, and young people presenting with acute, complex, and high-dependency clinical conditions. Dr Sridhar's practice focuses on the close monitoring, stabilisation, and ongoing management of critically unwell young patients requiring advanced medical support and intensive observation.

With extensive expertise in managing complex paediatric illness, Dr Sridhar oversees care for patients recovering from major surgery, including post-operative paediatric cardiac procedures, as well as children experiencing severe respiratory distress, acute organ dysfunction, and complex systemic infections such as Kawasaki disease. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, Dr Sridhar delivers prompt, coordinated clinical care designed to support both the patient and their family throughout the treatment journey.

Dr Sridhar earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree prior to undertaking postgraduate specialist training in General Paediatrics. Dr Sridhar holds Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) and has completed specialised postgraduate training through the Paediatric High Dependency Care Special Interest (SPIN) framework. Fully registered with the General Medical Council and listed on the Specialist Register for Paediatrics, Dr Sridhar maintains an active commitment to medical education, clinical governance, and ongoing professional development.
