Dr Laura Hole

Dr Laura Hole is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician specialising in general and acute paediatrics, alongside paediatric respiratory medicine. With a supportive and reassuring clinical approach, she is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-focused care to infants, children, and young people. Dr Hole works attentively to evaluate and manage both urgent medical presentations and long-term childhood conditions, ensuring that young patients and their families feel supported throughout the care process.

Her clinical practice covers a broad range of child health services, with particular focus on the care of acutely unwell children, high dependency support, and complex paediatric respiratory disorders. Dr Hole possesses specialist expertise in managing severe or difficult asthma, chronic cough, cystic fibrosis, and the distinct respiratory requirements of children with complex neurodisabilities. Working alongside multidisciplinary health professionals, she formulates individualised, evidence-based management plans tailored to each child's individual needs.

Dr Hole graduated with her medical degree from the University of Nottingham in 2001 and subsequently completed specialist postgraduate training in paediatrics. In addition to her clinical roles, she has a strong dedication to medical education and clinical skills training. She serves as a Simulation Tutor in paediatrics and regularly teaches on Advanced Paediatric Life Support courses, playing an active role in training healthcare teams to manage critical paediatric emergencies safely and effectively.
