Miss Laura Aggenbach

Miss Laura Aggenbach is a highly accomplished Consultant General Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist who is dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centred care. Working within emergency and general surgery, she is committed to delivering evidence-based surgical treatments that prioritise patient safety and clinical excellence. Her reassuring and professional approach ensures that patients feel fully supported and informed throughout their surgical journey.

Miss Aggenbach completed her comprehensive surgical training in the Netherlands, qualifying as a Consultant in General Surgery and Surgical Oncology in 2021. To further refine her expertise, she relocated to the United Kingdom to undertake highly specialised fellowships. She successfully completed the prestigious Sarcoma, Melanoma and Rare Tumours (SMART) Fellowship at a renowned specialist cancer centre in London, gaining extensive experience in managing soft-tissue sarcoma, advanced melanoma, and other rare tumours. Following this, she completed the esteemed Selwyn Taylor Fellowship in endocrine surgery at a leading London teaching trust, where she gained high-volume operative experience and contributed to clinical research.

In her clinical practice, Miss Aggenbach specialises in a broad range of general, emergency, and oncological procedures. She has a particular interest in endocrine surgery, including the surgical management of thyroid cancers, parathyroidectomy, and retroperitoneoscopic adrenalectomy. Her expertise also extends to the treatment of soft-tissue tumours, malignant melanoma, and other skin cancers. By combining advanced surgical techniques with a compassionate, consultant-led approach, she ensures that each patient receives a tailored and highly effective treatment plan.
