Ms Latika Narang

Miss Latika Narang is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist based at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. She holds the position of Labour Ward Lead at St Helier Hospital and is actively involved in risk management, chairing weekly meetings as part of the hospital’s governance team. She sees private patients at Spire Gatwick Park Hospital, Spire St Anthony’s Hospital, and Ashtead Hospital in Surrey.

Miss Narang specialises in general gynaecology and has expertise in areas such as early pregnancy care, abnormal bleeding, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, ovarian cyst management, and minimal access surgery. She is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, postmenopausal bleeding, and abnormal smears. She also performs procedures including hysterectomy, laparoscopy, and endometrial ablation, and provides coil fittings and removals.

Her training was completed through the London Deanery, followed by a fellowship in early pregnancy and acute gynaecology at St George’s Hospital, Tooting. She has a particular interest in clinical governance, guideline development, and service improvement. She has led initiatives such as the outpatient management of miscarriage and ambulatory treatment of hyperemesis, and continues to supervise audit and quality improvement projects within the NHS.

Miss Narang is actively involved in teaching and training, including mentoring GP trainees and medical students. She regularly presents at national and international conferences.
